Job description

Deputy Home Manager – Caedmon House, Whitby

Location: Whitby

Pay: £29,400 per year

Contract: Permanent

Job Type: Full-time

Make a Real Impact in a Warm, Vibrant Home on the Whitby Coast

Caedmon House is a unique and welcoming 9-bed home supporting individuals with a range of needs, including nonverbal communication and behaviours that may be challenging. It’s a lively, social place—full of curiosity, fun, and the occasional playful prankster! We’re now seeking a passionate, positive and proactive Deputy Manager to help lead Caedmon House and ensure we continue delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred support.

Caedmon House sits on Whitby’s beautiful West Cliff, steps from the seafront and walking distance to beaches, the Pavilion, shops, leisure facilities and more. Originally a hotel, it has been thoughtfully refurbished into specialist accommodation with multiple flats and a range of on-site activity spaces.
