Location: Whitwell, Worksop S80
Pay: £13.35 per hour
Contract: Full-time
Shifts Available: Days, Earlies, Lates, Mid Shifts & Nights
About Whitwell Park
Whitwell Park is a warm and welcoming 34-bed residential nursing service located in the heart of Whitwell, with excellent access to public transport and local amenities. We are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and creating a home where residents feel safe, valued, and supported.
We are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Team Leader to support, guide, and inspire our care teams while ensuring outstanding care for our residents.
The Role
As a Care Team Leader, you will play a key leadership role within the home, overseeing day-to-day care delivery and supporting staff to provide compassionate, high-quality care. You will work closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure care is personalised, safe, and effective.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise, support, and motivate care staff across shifts
• Ensure delivery of person-centred care in line with individual care plans
• Lead the development and review of care plans with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor care quality and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Organise staff rotas and maintain safe staffing levels
• Mentor and support staff development and training
• Complete care documentation, reports, and records using IT systems
• Promote effective communication with families and professionals
• Drive improvements in resident experience and operational efficiency
• Support residents with mobility and community access, including driving where required
What We’re Looking For
• Previous supervisory experience in a care home or senior care setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience creating and implementing personalised care plans
• Good understanding of adult social care regulations
• Confident using IT systems for care documentation
• Compassionate, organised, and able to work well under pressure
• Driving licence desirable (required for resident support when needed)
• Experience supporting complex needs, including:
o Mental Health conditions
o Learning Disabilities
o Behaviours of distress
o Personal care, medication, moving & handling
Shift Patterns
• Long Days: 7:30am – 9:00pm
• Earlies: 7:30am – 2:15pm
• Lates: 2:15pm – 9:00pm
• Mid Shifts: 6:30am – 8:00pm
• Nights: 8:45pm – 7:30am
(Rotas provided in advance to support work-life balance)
