Salary: Circa £35,000 per year
Location: Hybrid – Home and Office (Doncaster DN4 5NU) with travel across England
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Requirement: Enhanced DBS Check
About the Role
We are looking to expand our dedicated Quality Team and are seeking a Quality & Compliance Advisor to join Milewood. This role will provide professional guidance and support across our services to ensure compliance with social care regulations and promote high-quality, person-centred care.
As part of the Quality Team, you will help set standards, monitor quality, and drive continuous improvement across our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
• Support services to meet legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Carry out quality assurance activities, including audits and mock inspections.
• Provide direct service support, including practice development and coaching.
• Develop and review policies and procedures.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on social care best practice.
• Investigate and respond to incidents, concerns, and complaints.
• Support the development of training workshops for staff and managers.
• Work with departments across the organisation to embed good practice and continuous improvement.
• Promote a positive company culture focused on high-quality care.
• Represent Milewood at external meetings, consultations, and working groups related to quality in social care.
Experience & Skills Required
• Experience working within a social care environment (residential or community services).
• Experience ensuring quality standards in social care services are achieved and maintained.
• Knowledge of person-centred care practices.
• Experience delivering training or workshops.
• Experience developing and reviewing policies and procedures.
• Ability to travel nationally, with occasional overnight stays.
