About Ash Tree

Ash Tree is a 5-bed supported living service where each individual has their own self-contained flat. We support adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs to live as independently as possible, while providing tailored support with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, medication, and meaningful activities.

Our residents are largely independent but benefit from consistent, compassionate support to help them thrive.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, caring and compassionate Support Worker to join our friendly and motivated team. No prior experience is required — we will provide full training and ongoing support. All you need is a positive, can-do attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference.

You will be part of a supportive team committed to improving the quality of life of the people we support, helping them to build confidence, independence, and achieve their personal goals.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will deliver a high-quality, person-centred service, always placing the individuals we support at the heart of everything you do. This role involves a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and some unsociable hours.

No two days are the same. You will support residents with their day-to-day lives, encourage independence, and take part in activities both in and outside the home.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to build positive relationships with residents and ensure effective handovers with colleagues.

Our Ideal Support Worker

• Compassionate and attentive to individual needs

• Able to support activities and hobbies within the home

• Motivated to inspire and encourage residents to achieve more

• A driver is helpful for outings, but not essential — non-drivers are very welcome

What We Offer

• Competitive annual leave (increases with length of service)

• Flexible working to support work/life balance

• Pension scheme with auto-enrolment

• Employee Assistance Programme – 24/7 mental health support, counselling and GP access

• Lifestyle savings on supermarkets, high-street shopping, utilities and local retailers

• Access to a discounted health cash plan

• Plus much more
